KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, HR Business to join our Talent & Culture organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the Senior Director HR Business Advisor to the Consulting Service Group (SG), partnering with the leaders and HR centers of excellence to drive and deliver strategic, high-quality, innovative, and efficient HR solutions; partner with SG leadership to execute on the business strategy
  • Direct and coach the Consulting HRBA team to provide effective HR service delivery to a workforce of over 8,000 partners and employees, while establishing strong working relationships with leaders and support the strategic direction of the business in both day-to-day operation and strategic planning
  • Coordinate the functional planning, execution and compliance of annual HR processes including goal setting, performance assessment, promotion decisions, compensation planning, and talent management, including leading Partner/Executive compensation and talent management processes with excellence
  • Coach and counsel business leaders at all levels through key business and people decisions including leadership placement, organizational design, risk and regulatory considerations, and investigations/disciplinary actions
  • Build and deploy organizational effectiveness programs and solutions in support of business strategic and operational priorities; analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
Qualifications:
  • Minimum twelve years of recent and broad Human Resources experience, in a professional services environment preferred with an emphasis on HR strategy, process transformation, change management and people management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Experience managing and leading HR teams
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with excellence on tight deadlines, as well as results orientation with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business
  • Possess an excellent client orientation; able to build relationships and credibility within a professional services environment; highly effective commerciality and business acumen

California Salary Range: $180000 - $357000
