Contracts Specialist Hybrid from Reston, VA Summary As a main point of contact for your government contracts, you'll manage relationships, oversee performance, and ensure compliance with terms and deliverables. Your role includes negotiating agreements, reviewing contract terms, handling amendments, and responding to inquiries. You'll also review proposals, negotiate terms, and prepare various contractual documents.  Administers and monitors contract performance on assigned government contracts with both direct and indirect customersMaintains relationships with US Government Contract Officers and/or contract/subcontract managers as key point of contacts for assigned contracts to ensure mutual understanding of terms, deliverables and expectations associated with agreementsMay assist with the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers ensuring adherence to company policies and proceduresResponsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications and incorporating changesReviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identifies risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provides contractual advice, guidance and support to the contract lead / program and operations managersResponds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions in a timely mannerConducts fulfillment of contract deliverablesProposal review and timely submission for customer requirementsReviews and analyzes moderately complex price proposalsNegotiates standard terms and conditionsMonitors contract performance and cost controls and ensures compliance with contract termsPrepares non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSA), Service Orders (SO) and other contractual agreementsUnder direction, prepares contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assembles contract documentation packageParticipates in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviews

 Qualifications 
 
 
 Bachelors Degree in related discipline4 years relatableexperience in contracts managementStrong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and other related federal supplemental regulationsStrong understanding of contract/Purchase Order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of US Government contracting process including GSA Multiple Award Schedules, Blanket Purchase Orders, sole source and competitive procurementsComprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper useKnowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelinesDetailed knowledge of source selection / evaluation process including cost and price analysisKnowledge of requirements for and experienced in administration of government propertyDetailed knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out, and records retentionDetailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, P.O.'s teaming and other forms of agreementsExceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently; assess priorities; and excellent organizational skills

 The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
