PURPOSE:

The Maintenance A Pipefitter/Welder is responsible for tube bending, routing and fitting.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to work "off the ground" and inside confined spaces at certain times
• Able and willing to take and accept call-outs is also required
• Must be able to understand company and Engineering standards for specific jobs
• Coordinate and order materials for jobs.
• Able to work with all pipe fitting tools (angle tools, gas torch, and plasma cutter, etc)
• Pipefitting (small bore, threaded)

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of either formalized training or a combination of experience and industrial training are required.
• Must be able to pass 6g all position carbon, also pass 1/4 chrome, 1/2 moly, along with stainless coupon test
• Tube bending, routing and fitting proficiency is required. Pipefitting (small bore, threaded) shall also be required

• Good housekeeping skills are a requirement in the welding shop
• Applicant must be self-driven
• Able and energetic to learn this Plant
• Capable of working with others
