Join Our Team as an Industrial Cable Installation Technician * Location: Gallatin, TN* About the Role TEKsystems is looking for entry-level helpers to assist our leads and technicians in running cable in an industrial environment. This environment will be very large commercial construction site. We are looking for dependable individuals who show up every day, stay on task, and get work done efficiently. Managerial references will be required to validate these traits. Key Responsibilities * Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment. * Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot network issues. * Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless network connectivity. * Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus). * Experience in telecommunications or a related field. * Knowledge of routers, switches, cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and low-voltage systems. * Familiarity with VoIP, PBX systems, and network protocols. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Adaptability to evolving technologies and requirements. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
