Purpose:

The Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, will drive executive recruitment initiatives while playing a key role in shaping the organization's overall talent strategy and succession planning efforts. This position will partner closely with senior leadership to identify future talent needs and build pipelines to support long-term organizational growth. This role will lead a specialized talent acquisition pod focused on high impact hiring across commercialization and engineering. As the teams Lead, this individual will ensure strategic alignment across functions and foster cross-functional collaboration in support of business goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

* Lead executive-level recruitment efforts, including managing a personal requisition load, sourcing, assessment, and selection of senior leadership talent.

* Develop and implement enterprise-wide talent strategies that support organizational growth and long-term workforce planning.

* Contribute to talent mapping initiatives in partnership with HR and business leaders to help identify internal and external talent for critical roles and future organizational needs.

* Collaborate with business leaders to assess current and future talent gaps and build strategic plans to address them.

* Stay informed on industry trends, labor market dynamics, and competitive intelligence

* Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of talent strategies with business objectives.

* Lead, coach, and mentor a team of recruiters, ensuring adoption of best practices and achievement of hiring targets for critical recruitment initiatives. Accountable for team performance and delivery against hiring goals.

Required Skills:

* Excellent understanding of the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.

* Understanding of recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, etc.) and the ability to analyze and act on data insights.

* Good time-management skills to manage multiple requisitions and priorities effectively.

* Good knowledge of candidate selection methods, including behavioral interviewing, competency-based assessments, and talent screening techniques.

* Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop and guide less-experienced recruiters.

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence candidates, stakeholders, and hiring managers.

* Strategic thinking with the ability to create and execute tailored recruitment strategies based on organizational goals.

* Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools/software to streamline the recruitment process.

* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams, candidates, and senior leaders.

* Problem-solving abilities, particularly in overcoming recruitment challenges and finding creative solutions.

* Ability to assess market trends and adapt sourcing strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business.

* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliant recruitment practices.

* Leadership and team development skills to effectively manage, coach, and inspire a team of recruiters.

* Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Basic Qualifications:

* 7 years of experience in talent acquisition with 3 years of experience in leading a recruiting team

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelors, HSD is acceptable with 10 years of relevant job experience

Travel: Up to 10%

The salary range for this position is $106,000-$155,000 . Messer provides medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off as well as other voluntary benefits, such as, long term disability in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in Messer's 401(k) Plan. Employees may be eligible to participate in the company's bonus program
