Job Description

RRD has an amazing opportunity for an Email Deployment Specialist to join our team!

This entry-level role is primarily responsible for executing the QA testing, which entails using our client's campaign assets as their reference when reviewing an email campaign's HTML.

Summary

The Email Deployment Specialist works alongside other RRD team members, to help provide support to their client's email marketing campaigns. He/She is responsible for completing a detailed QA checklist of items such as the emails content, links, and imagery, which is a pivotal step within the email campaign process to ensure accuracy, functionality, and rendering quality for all their client's email campaigns, before tests are sent to the client for review, and they're deployed out of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

By taking the initiative and using the available resources and other team members for support, this individual has the opportunity to evolve within their role, and become responsible for more technical, complex tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Execute deliverables with a high level of attention to detail and quality control
  • Work with project leads and team members to prioritize project deliverables for all engagements, to meet or exceed client needs and expectations
  • Execute deliverables utilizing current processes and tools to complete and deploy projects successfully
  • Collaborate with Campaign Managers, Technical Producers, Production Specialists, and Design Consultants to manage, create and deploy campaigns on behalf of customers
  • Upon receipt of customer-approved campaign assets, QA Specialist is to help assist with the following: Stay updated with the latest trends in email, mobile and social marketing
  • Show initiative and optimism to solve issues or propose new ideas
  • Foster teamwork and a "whatever it takes" to get it done attitude in a constructive environment
  • Maintain positive interactions with staff, management, and clients to promote a healthy work environment and successful project delivery

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to be client-facing
  • Detail-oriented
  • Execute work with a high level of quality
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Positive attitude and pro-activity
  • Ability to effectively work independently as well as with a team
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Ability to gain technical knowledge and expertise in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Campaign platform
  • Initiative to stay updated with the latest technology trends in email marketing
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Litmus platform
  • Knowledge of Email Marketing industry best practices
  • Previous experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable email application is a plus

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $48,000 to $70,100/ year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future.At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
