Location: Calmont Operations BuildingDepartment: Child SafetyShift: First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 40Summary: Working through the Center for Children's Health, the Aim for Safety Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of gun safety and injury prevention community-based program efforts in Cook Children's primary service areas that support and align with Cook Children's Promise, Cook Children's Strategic Plan, the Community-Wide Children's Health Assessment and Planning Survey (CCHAPS) and other relevant data. The work promotes community relationships through collaborative partnerships working with diverse populations, prioritizing high-risk children and families. The Aim for Safety Program Coordinator serves as a resource to community and system leadership to identify target audiences to communicate results and outcomes of community-based efforts related to gun safety and injury prevention. Requires some weekend/evening work and routine travel in the eight six-county service area as assigned (Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Parker, Wise, Denton, Collin, Grayson). Qualifications:
