We are searching for a talented Patient Access Intake Representative Sr *$1,500 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. **Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours. Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Team Leader, Patient Financial Services, employee will perform a wide variety of duties to facilitate patient access throughout the organization. Ensure patient compliance with applicable hospital policy and obtain accurate patient information. This will ensure patient safety and optimal reimbursement to the organization in accordance with various external regulations. Work as clinical liaison between insurance carrier, physician office and clinical personnel within the system. Using critical thinking skills to determine patient liability prior to services rendered. Utilizing the estimate tool and notify patients of their potential liability in accordance with Federal & State regulations and collect payment. Assist with supervision of assigned personnel. Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range USD $17.05 - USD $28.28 /Hr. Rotation Schedule Requirement Weekend, holiday rotation |
