What you'll do:

The Digital Solutions Delivery Manager supports digital solutions for Western Alliance Bank by working with delivery teams, business partners, and vendors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role manages personnel and systems within the team, ensuring technical designs align with architectural standards and business goals. Key requirements include technical expertise, leadership experience, team management, overseeing DevOps pipelines, and aligning solution delivery with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate excels at supervising system implementations, managing resources, documenting processes, and collaborating across teams to achieve successful digital outcomes in an ever-evolving organizational landscape.
  • Ensure adherence to IT control processes and support compliance and regulatory reviews.
  • Develop a deep understanding of technology engineering (networks, systems, vendors) and each team's responsibilities in delivering business solutions.
  • Build and maintain KPIs and KRIs to monitor system stability and application performance.
  • Develop solutions across multiple IT domains, including APIs/services, portals, web/mobile solutions, and core application services.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with technical resources, application teams, business units, and executive leadership.
  • Possess strong knowledge of the banking industry and experience supporting financial institutions' digital applications, processes, and technology.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SaaS and COTS application implementation and integration.
  • Have a fundamental understanding of technical architecture to ensure a resilient processing environment.

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years in a bank and/or financial service delivering technical capabilities (in IT or business line) as a service to the organization; leading application management or development, IT change control and change management, business process improvement, IT application management, incident management.
  • 7+ years' experience in management, project management, IT consulting, or related field.
  • 7+ years' experience working on project(s) involving multiple development life cycles (SDLC).
  • 4+ years leading people and developing expertise to manage a scaling environment, working to develop opportunities for people from within the organization and growing a team to be a leading contributor to our future success.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • Strong ITIL skills in Change, Incident and Problem Management.
  • Foundational knowledge on technical infrastructure and architecture to deliver a resilient processing environment preferably Cloud based solution (Azure is a plus).
  • Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in managing technology teams within a specific functional area while ensuring highest quality delivery of complex products or services.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with the execution KPIs and timelines with proven ability to analyze a variety of data and summarize findings in applicable reports or other communication mediums. Utilize data to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth by collaborating with business and tech leads.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • May require up to 25% travel.
