The Exchange Inventory Specialist is responsible for component inventory management, logistics, rebuild and storage to economically meet the demands of the current market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Obtain, review, setup and maintain exchange inventory.
  • Monitor recondition work orders and work with component supervisors to best expedite repair location while adhering to Reusability and Salvage Guidelines.
  • Maintain competitive market data.
  • Monitor and report exchange part sales, financials and inventory performance.
  • Pro-actively establish effective, courteous, and professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Explore alternative part sourcing methods, develop quality vendor relationships and promote creative strategies.



WHAT YOU'LL NEED:



  • Associates' degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Possess valid driver's license.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and report writing applications, including but not limited to Cognos, Crystal Reports, and/or Tableau.
