Job Description
ECU School of Art and Design is currently seeking several 3D Studio Assistants to support the tidiness, maintenance, and organization of the sculpture studios. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and can work independently.
Job Duties:

  • Maintaining cleanliness; including floors, counters, and various surfaces of tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Resetting and maintenance of equipment as instructed by professor.
  • Must be able to move heavier items, tools, and equipment in a safe manner using proper methods for the purpose of course activities and/or organization.
  • Occasional inventory of supplies and transport of supplies on campus, and perform other duties as assigned by professor.
  • Be willing and able to learn basic safety and machine functions as pertains to assisting sculpture personnel.


Proper training to be provided at the studio. Student employees may be asked to work evenings and/or weekends to serve the above duties more effectively. Schedules are to be determined by student employees and professor.
Hourly rate is $10.
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Sculpture students are preferred but will train a dedicated individual. Applicants should be in good academic standing.
