Job Description: IT Support Technician Role Overview We're seeking an in-person IT Support Technician to assist with a technology refresh initiative. This role involves direct interaction with end users in a walk-up IT support setting. You'll be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, deploying PCs, and maintaining accurate asset records. Key Responsibilities * Provide hands-on support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network configurations * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently or collaboratively * Install, remove, and configure devices and applications * Deliver exceptional customer service in a face-to-face support environment * Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate when necessary * Maintain accurate asset documentation in an internal management system * Communicate professionally with users and team members via email, phone, and in-person Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (preferred) * 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field (preferred) * Relevant technical certifications are a plus What You'll Bring * Solid understanding of IT concepts and technical troubleshooting * Ability to work on moderately complex projects with minimal supervision * Strong judgment and problem-solving skills within defined parameters * Professional communication and time management skills * Familiarity with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables * Experience with ticketing systems, device imaging, and user account support Core Skills * Troubleshooting * Customer service * Hardware and software support * Technical deployment * Imaging and configuration * Ticketing and documentation * User account and access management Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
