Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Hardware Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and peripheral devices across the organization. This role requires hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and AV equipment, as well as strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and other hardware components. * Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including component failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks. * Perform routine hardware upgrades and replacements to ensure optimal system performance. * Set up and support AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and video conferencing, including cameras, microphones, and display systems. * Collaborate with IT support staff to manage inventory, track hardware assets, and maintain accurate documentation. * Provide technical support to end-users in person, via phone, or through remote tools, ensuring timely resolution of hardware-related issues. * Assist in the deployment of new workstations and IT infrastructure during office expansions or relocations. * Maintain compliance with company policies and industry standards, including data security and equipment handling procedures. Qualifications: * Associate degree or technical certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google IT Support). * 2+ years of experience in IT hardware support or desktop support roles. * Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments. * Experience with AV systems and video conferencing technologies. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
