We're looking for five tech-savvy individuals to join a short-term project providing IT (Information technology) support for an office relocation in Anchorage. This is a hands-on, five-week assignment that requires reliable transportation and U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
*What You'll Be Doing:* * *Setting Up Workstations:* Assemble and connect desktops, monitors, phones, and accessories at new desk locations. * *Tracking Equipment:* Label and log IT gear-computers, monitors, keyboards, and more-to keep inventory organized. * *Imaging Systems:* Use approved tools to install operating systems on laptops and desktops. * *Hardware Setup:* Make sure everything's plugged in, powered up, and connected-printers, docking stations, and networks included. * *Installing Software:* Load necessary applications and confirm they meet company standards. * *Troubleshooting:* Fix basic tech issues on the spot to keep things running smoothly. * *Teamwork:* Coordinate with IT, facilities, and employees to ensure a seamless move. * *Recordkeeping:* Document setups, asset locations, and any hiccups along the way. *What We're Looking For:* * *Experience in IT or desktop support is a plus.* * Familiarity with imaging tools and basic networking. * Good attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to lift and move equipment. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. *Work Environment:* * This is an on-site role during the relocation period. * Expect physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
