YOUR OPPORTUNITY


We have an exciting Continuous Improvement Engineer opportunity in our Renewable Energy division. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the renewable energy division, which is committed to sustainable practices and innovation in the field of renewable gas production. Our state-of-the-art facilities utilize cutting-edge technology to produce renewable gas from manure, contributing to a greener future. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to lead continuous improvement initiatives and analyze processes and data to improve/enhance operational efficiencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure their sustainability.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor performance metrics and track the progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide training and support to plant personnel on continuous improvement methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS


Required: The details listed below are the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities to perform this role. Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job.



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in continuous improvement roles, preferably in the energy or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in Wastewater treatment and Anaerobic Digestion
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Lean Manufacturing
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel), SQL, and Access. ASPEN PLUS and Minitab are a plus.
  • Commitment to sustainability and passion for renewable energy.



SCHEDULE



  • Primarily A shift but as required by the business.

  • While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the field environment requires you to wear hearing protection and required personal protective equipment.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
