Talent Acquisition Lead

The Talent Acquisition Lead manages the full recruitment lifecycle for all positions within their assigned area, including sourcing, recruitment strategy, candidate screening and interviewing, and candidate tracking through to final disposition in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).


Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting:




  • Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies.



  • Source candidates proactively via resume mining, industry groups, college events, recruiting platforms, and networks.



  • Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and manage candidate flow within the ATS through to final disposition.



  • Manage requisition creation and job postings, including crafting prequalification questions.



  • Conduct kickoff calls and regular recruiting update meetings with hiring managers and HR.



  • Identify optimal job posting venues to attract best-fit talent.




Candidate Experience:




  • Coordinate scheduling of phone and in-person interviews, ensuring timely communication at every stage.



  • Deliver a positive candidate experience by providing clear updates and feedback.



  • Promptly disposition candidates who are not selected, ensuring respectful and transparent communication.




Process Integrity and Reporting:




  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS.



  • Generate and distribute weekly recruitment reports to HR leadership and executives.



  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with all federal and state regulations, including OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP guidelines.



  • Promote ethical and fair treatment of all candidates and partners.

  • Skilled at leveraging industry networks and professional connections to source top talent.



  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of open positions efficiently.



  • Resourceful, resilient, and committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.



  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all organizational levels.



  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.





Minimum Qualifications


  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.



  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in talent acquisition with full lifecycle recruiting in a multi-location organization.



  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).



  • Knowledge of OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP compliance.



  • Proven success recruiting across multi-state or multi-office environments.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).



  • Strong planning, communication, customer service, and independent work skills.





Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.



  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in the construction industry.
