About this opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure that supports the development and deployment of our applications and services. You will be part of a collaborative Platform Engineering team, responsible for building and optimizing our Azure environments, improving automation, and ensuring platform reliability, security, and performance.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
- Build, maintain and monitor Kubernetes cluster. Triage problems faced by applications running in Kubernetes cluster
- Proven experience in writing high quality code in Python or any other functional/OO language with a track record of shipping impactful software.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment cycles.
- Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support application lifecycle needs.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high availability using monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Implement and maintain security best practices in the Azure cloud environment, including RBAC, identity management, and policy enforcement.
- Automate operational tasks and improve cloud cost efficiency.
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting related to platform and infrastructure issues.
- Document systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
The skills you bring:
- Experience (1-2+ years) as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Or AWS.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, containerization, container, and system administration in cloud environments.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Sumologic, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) or similar tools
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerized workloads.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and cloud security best practices.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
Santa Clara: $106,800- $140,175

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
