Summary:

The Program Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of contract execution in support of Army Futures Command (AFC) Sustainment Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (SCDID). This role ensures timely delivery of contract deliverables, quality assurance, and effective coordination with government stakeholders. The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Program Management Plan (PMP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), and consolidated reporting to support modernization and sustainment initiatives.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure alignment of contract execution with AFC SCDID objectives and modernization priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services meet all contract requirements.
  • Monitor performance, prevent recurrence of defective services, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide an organizational chart detailing team structure, roles, qualifications, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure all team members are aligned with contract deliverables and performance standards.
  • Attend post-award conferences and periodic progress meetings with the Contracting Officer, COR, and other government personnel.
  • Participate in scheduled and unscheduled meetings, briefings, and conferences, including those outside regular duty hours.
  • Ensure appropriate contractor personnel are present and prepared to provide input and updates.
  • Submit a Monthly Status Report (MSR) detailing actions taken, issues encountered, and recommended solutions.
  • Provide Significant Activity Reports (SIGACTs) summarizing key meetings and events, using government-provided formats.
  • Prepare and present briefings upon request to support contract tasks and inform stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Army sustainment and modernization processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a DoD or federal contracting environment
  • Proven experience managing complex contracts and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
