The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will maintain the organization's inventory while maintaining accurate records of all procurements, ensuring all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organization's inventory cycle. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to change in a fast-paced warehouse working environment and have proven skills managing and controlling inventory.

DUTIES

  • Perform quarterly cycle counts for Anaheim and San Jose/Fremont warehouse and all Econolite Systems, Inc. vehicles in those locations.
  • Proven expertise of all phases of the ERP system that pertain to inventory, cycle counts, purchase orders, and transfer orders to process these transactions.
  • Analyze and resolve all discrepancies, check other locations and all Costpoint transactions before adjusting inventory, keep inventory in Costpoint as accurate as possible.
  • Determine and process purchase recognitions to replenish inventory and supplies needed; ensure adherence to approved budget.
  • Work closely with Buyers, Supervisors, Technicians and Managers to ensure inventory accuracy; communicate with Purchasing Department as needed regarding inventory discrepancies and requirements.
  • General housekeeping in warehouse, yard and shed to make sure parts are clean and organized.
  • Various inventory projects as required.
  • Use of forklift to load and unload deliveries and shipments as needed.
  • Receive PO's and ship sales orders and other packages as needed.
  • Process all repair orders. Receive, log, contact vendors, make shipments, get PO approvals, and send out all customer repairs as needed.
  • Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years inventory experience and/or equivalent amount of education & experience.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • Must be thorough, detail oriented, and organized; excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Requires proficient computer literacy: MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System experience, preferably MS D365.
  • Prior experience with Costpoint preferred.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance are essential and required for this role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and bend at the waist for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Safety sensitive position

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this full-time non-exempt position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
