The job

The Application Analyst is responsible for the oversight, management, and enhancement of internal business applications, with a strong focus on governance and optimization. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure applications are aligned with business objectives, efficiently maintained, and continuously improved. Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

What you'll do

  • Manages the full lifecycle of internal applications, including updates and maintenance.
  • Maintaining thorough records and documentation from both user and developer perspectives.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and prioritize application enhancement requirements.
  • Ensuring effective governance, including security and compliance measures.
  • Identify, track, and resolve application issues promptly to ensure continuity of business processes.
  • Work with various departments to provide solutions to business challenges through application improvements.
  • Supporting the development of new applications as needed to address evolving business needs.
  • Continuously improving application efficiency and ease of use by analyzing system performance and user feedback.
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the Information Systems team.
  • Providing assistance with ad hoc reporting and interdepartmental requests.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience managing or overseeing applications on a low-code platform (experience with Quickbase or similar platforms is a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Project management skills, including prioritization, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the agreed-upon schedule of availability.
