Senior Financial Analyst

Spectra Tech, Inc. has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst in Oak Ridge, TN.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts in concert with closing and as reasonable before month end closing.

• Prepare recurring monthly journal entries.

• Assist with financial planning and budget process.

• Assist with annual financial statement audit.

• Analyze financial statements and reports.

• Help prepare projections as assigned.

• Assist as needed with Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable during month end deadlines.

• Analyze variances between actual and budged performance, being able to explain reasons for deviations.

• Subject matter expert/admin for Unanet.

• Cross training with other accounting team members.

• Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings/reduction.

• Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and support business initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, support decision-making, and drive best financial practices across the organization.

• Process weekly ACH file.

• Other special projects and duties as requested.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's in accounting, MBA preferred and at a minimum 5 years' experience.
