The Sr Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing complex systems, processes, and operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
Essential Functions:
Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to streamline operations.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
Participate/Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and lowering costs,
Utilize production schedules to calculate facility capacity calculations and manpower requirements.
Design, implement, and manage systems that improve production, quality control, and safety in manufacturing settings.
Analyze and develop labor standards using time studies or other processes.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for new processes or equipment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
Forecast labor hours monthly/yearly to be used for operations and financial planning.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying current with new technologies, methods, and best practices in Industrial Engineering.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 6+ years experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Process Optimization or equivalent.
Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Process Optimization or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
Strong proficiency in labor tracking and performance analysis
Excellent cost estimating and proposal development skills
Strong ability to modify or create plant layouts (AutoCAD)
Experience with production ERP systems/tools
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
