Job Title: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Location:Lockport, LA

Position Overview:

We are seeking anEntry Level Electrical Engineerto perform Engineering design and oversee the manufacture, construction and installation of shipboard electrical systems specifically in the areas of power distribution, automation, control systems and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration and development of calculations, system level diagrams, I/O schedules, functional design diagrams, and termination drawings in addition to supporting all production and testing activities.
• Coordinate and integrate with primary system and multiple subsystems manufactures to ensure proper and complete interface among all systems.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 (three) months of electrical engineering experience or equivalent four years Electrical Design Experience.
• Desired minimum of 3 (three) months of field experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with CFR, ABS, NVIC, USCG, MIL-STD, IEEE rules, and other applicable regulations required.
• Candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work with various one-lines, wiring diagrams and schedules.
