• Preferred bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience
• Hands on experience with using VMWare Workstation (v15+)
• Comfortable with Linux cmd line; dnf, rpm, zip, tar, curl, wget.
• Develop and maintain configuration management scripts with Ansible.
• Deploy and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems.
• Identify and tactfully communicate the root cause of application and networking issues
• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of engineers to resolve issues related to stability, performance, or vulnerabilities.
• Installing databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Networking/DNS/Firewalls.
• Security minded.
• Fully embrace DevSecOps culture.
• Prioritize work and close out tickets in a timely manner.
• Able to work at a high level independently.
• Demonstrates high initiative and ownership of issues.
• Able to follow internal procedures and reliably perform real-time ticket documentation.
• Must be able to work through tough situations and solve challenging problems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Government or large organization experience.

• Jira Service Management and Confluence.
• Cloud based services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure )
• App monitoring: Tanium, Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection.
• Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting J2EE apps.

• Ability to attain Federal Government Position of Trust
• Must be a US Citizen

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs.As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00.
