Job Description:

• We are recruiting for a full-time CPSO with travel to the DC Metro area, Maryland, and Virginia. The selected candidate will oversee security management operations, serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO), Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO), ensuring compliance with all federal security requirement.

The Contract Program Security Officer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Manage and implement security policies and procedures in accordance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and 32 CFR Part 117.
• Serve as the FSO / ITPSO / CPSO, ensuring compliance with all security regulations and client requirements.
• Maintain and oversee security accounts within Defense Information Security System (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), and National Industrial Security System (NISS).
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and training for personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations.
• Develop and implement insider threat programs, cyber awareness initiatives, and personally identifiable information (PII) protection.
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution of security incidents.
• Experience with use of the Scattered Castles and other Intelligence Community clearance databases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an FSO / CPSO supporting DCSA and DoD programs.
• Extensive knowledge of DISS, NBIS, and NISS security systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable transportation for travel to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.
• Ability to effectively detect, assess, and resolve security-related matters in a timely manner.
• Travel required to client facilities in and around the National Capital Region.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 90,000-135,000
