Description

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding. The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing a high performing team of Talent Acquisition Consultants. In addition, the Manager will develop and maintain analytics for the department holding the TA Consultants to a high level of accountability in accordance with established metrics and standards for providing a superior level of service to both candidates and their hiring managers. The Manager is also responsible for overseeing the administration of the Applicant Tracking System and to help train end users. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the TA team maintains a customer-centric focus providing candidates and managers with a seamless and high quality candidate and manager experience. This role will also be responsible for managing some Executive level searches in addition to other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree Business, Human Resources or related degree (Required)

Minimum Work Experience
5 years Recruiting and/or HR experience, healthcare experience preferred preferably in Healthcare (Required)
1 year Management/supervisory/lead experience of a minimum of 2 (or more) people (Required)

Functional Accountabilities
Analytics
  • Review, revise/update, build and execute the recruiting analytics strategy; then gather, manipulate and use the resulting data to tell relevant stories about aspects of recruiting
  • Revise and update the balanced scorecard to report the metrics of the Talent Acquisition function, as needed so reflects the most relevant information for Senior leadership
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team to produce strategic insights through various means of reporting
  • Foster an environment where strategic recruiting decisions are made based on data and analytics
  • Prepare reports on a regular basis as well as ad hoc reports as needed or requested
Recruitment Process
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process mapping for all aspects of the talent acquisition process.
  • Serve as Administrator for the Applicant Tracking System and provide training to staff and new leaders as appropriate.
  • Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning to streamline processes and recommend technology solutions and other process improvement to bring greater efficiencies to the recruitment and selection process.
  • Recommend and administer various assessment tools and provide guidance to hiring managers in their use and effectiveness.
Staff Training
  • Provide and/or arrange for training and professional development for talent acquisition staff
  • Provide appropriate leadership training to newly hired or promoted talent acquisition team members
Sourcing
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers as well as external recruitment sources including colleges,universities and other community partners to attract diverse top talent
  • Create and implement effective sourcing strategies
Departmental Leadership
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of highly reliable and high functioning Talent Acquisition Consultants and hold the team to a high level of accountability
  • Establish, monitor and maintain standards of performance for the Talent Acquisition Consultants, including taking appropriate action when standards are not consistently maintained
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources Business Partners and other disciplines within the Human Resources function to maintain a cohesive working relationship
  • Work collaboratively with all disciplines to provide support to the Talent Acquisition team and to ensure a customer centric and seamless candidate and manager experience
