We're actively seeking a talented Manager, Real Estate Portfolio Operations to join our Real Estate Servicing team in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Manager, Real Estate Portfolio Operations you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by managing a team responsible for functions related to commercial real estate servicing. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 20 people in the Investments division. Your colleagues will include fellow real estate commercial loan servicing professionals. How you'll help move us forward: You will oversee the following functions within the Real Estate area of Pacific Life Investments: Risk Management
Negotiate the compliance of real property insurance coverages for all loans serviced by Pacific Life. Casualty claim monitoring & administration for serviced mortgage portfolios Monitoring and reporting of insurance coverages, deficiencies, risk exposures & catastrophic event exposure Customer service related to insurance matters including impound and forced placement administration Determines/negotiates insurance provisions/ requirements for new PL loans Manages placement of PL's mortgage impairment, forced place and Real Estate Equity (property and liability) insurance coverage's
Client Services
Review and interpret loan documents and research issues if necessary. Process system updates pursuant to the loan or transaction documents. Prepare and distribute mortgage loan billing statements for all loan portfolios. Facilitate compliance with all Corporate initiatives, programs and requirements (e.g. Information Security, BCP, SOX ). Tax Payment Processing - Escrowed Tax Payment Monitoring - Non-Escrowed Escrow Audits Reserve Draws Cash Collateral Agent Functions Review and interpretation of related provisions of loan documents System Maintenance Rating Agency Reporting Audits (Reg. AB, USAP, internal, external, DOI, etc.) Special projects as they arise
The experience you bring:
4-year college degree with emphasis in Business, Finance or Real Estate preferred (MBA strongly preferred) Previous experience managing/leading professional employees with accountability for performance and results of the team. Superior analytical skills High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Argus a plus Excellent organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness is a must Team Player with collaborative and strong relationship building skills Ability to work independently and in a way that reflects the company's culture and core values Skilled at developing and maintaining personal, social and business relationships representing Pacific Life in a professional manner Willingness to travel as needed

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
