Implementation Support SME and Implementation Test Engineer

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):



  • Work under direct supervision to perform field implementation, testing, and troubleshooting, using an interdisciplinary engineering approach to assess problems and develop solutions.
  • Assist in the development of specifications, design, and documentation for engineering systems and equipment.
  • Support concept development, trade-off studies, and subsystem-level design for electronic or mechanical devices.
  • Assist in creating and executing test plans to evaluate, debug, and ensure equipment and systems meet specifications.
  • Provide network systems engineering support, including analysis and optimization of network performance, configuration of network devices, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Support software development projects, including requirements analysis, design reviews, integration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Assist in process improvement for software development, data management, and enterprise information systems, including metadata and data standardization efforts.
  • Support information systems security by assisting in testing, producing remediation plans, and implementing security hardware/software solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and other documentation related to assigned projects.



Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):



  • 20+ years of experience with FAA.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., systems, aviation, aeronautical, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, environmental, computer science, industrial, etc.).



Nice to Have (Skills that are not required, but nice to have):



  • PMP Certification.
