Job Description GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Performs analysis and testing of relational databases and investigates any data load failures or data retrieval issues.* Designs, develops and implements data mining tools and analysis to shift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.* Conducts analysis and designs sessions with business as well as other technology teams.* Generates and prepares reports to support business objectives.* Assists in identifying and prioritizing business information needs and defining business benefit of data warehousing.* Provides advice and guidance on data warehousing approaches and solutions and use of data warehousing methodology.* Responsible for supporting architecture and design of data warehouse, data marts and BI reports in support of various data initiatives.* Identifies data warehousing issues and assists in their resolution.* Identifies process improvements and provides strategic direction.* Other related duties assigned as needed.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in business or information technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* Ability to facilitate discussions with data warehouse end-users to identify, understand, assess, prioritize, document and communicate requirements, risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks* Demonstrated experience trouble-shooting issues in data warehousing* Good written/verbal communication skills* Ability to analyze source data systems to identify and document complex data mapping, business rule analysis, functional and non- functional requirements* Ability to define detailed business rules for validating and transforming data for end-user reports* Ability to create, update and maintain project documentations such as: requirement specifications, functional design, data mapping, report specifications, etc.* Participate in design of new data structures/dimensional models in all areas of data warehouseWorldpay JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION Privacy Statement Worldpay is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
