Responsibilities

Care Center Administrator

The candidate selected for this dynamic role will be responsible for the quality of care and services provided to Residents and operate the Care Center in compliance with all applicable State and Federal Regulations.

  • Member of community Cabinet team. Works collaboratively with Executive Director and Cabinet team to ensure success in meeting and exceeding community goals in operations, human resources, sales and resident care.
  • Responsible for oversight of the Resident Care staff, which includes hiring, training and development, counseling, performance evaluation, functional development and disciplinary action.
  • Oversees training of all staff on Resident Care policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with orientation, training and on-going education requirements of staff.
  • Develops, follows, enforces policies and procedures; ensures that policies, procedures and processes are compliant with applicable State and Federal regulation. Incorporates standards/policies into all aspects of resident care training, programs, meetings and initiatives.
  • Represents the Care Center in relationships with outside agencies, community services providers and other healthcare providers.
  • Responsible for protecting and advocating for resident rights.
  • Responsible for the applications for licensure of the Care Center and that those conditions for licensure are met.
  • Implements corporate initiatives within the care center.
  • Monitors practices in the Care Center to ensure consistency with current standards promulgated by the Company and appropriate local, State, and Federal regulatory bodies.
  • Oversees resident care including the coordination of services given by care providers.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience and management roles in a skilled nursing facility. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required. Must meet criteria established by the State Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators. Current Nursing Home Administrator License in the state where practicing. Must possess knowledge of regulatory compliance and Continuing Care Retirement Community operations. Current CPR certification is required or must be willing and able to become CPR certified.

Additional requirements include:

*Ability to act in a courteous and professional manner through interactions with others.
*Ability to use a resident and customer-focused approach to problem solving, goal setting and management philosophy.
*Superior oral and written communication skills and ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.
*Proficient in use of computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Pay Range

USD $118,446.79 - USD $153,978.52 /Yr.
