AsaSr. Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by working as a liaison between business partners and technology, supporting technology projects and developing a career as a technology professional. You will join a dynamic team of Analysts in a fast-paced technology environment in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include fellow Systems Analysts, Developers, Database Administrators and other technology professionals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Actively leading efforts in gathering requirements that can be translated into technical solutions
  • Lead conversations with business partners and technical teams to manage midsize to large projects
  • Apply data and process analysis principles to produce customized reports
  • Writing and maintaining complex technical documentation
  • Work with Quality Assurance analysts to create Test Plans and review test results
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
  • Act as front-line support for incidents, outages, and complex business inquiries

Theexperience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • 5-7 Years of experience working in a Financial Institution, preferably in annuities administration
  • Strong problem-solving and solutions driven mindset
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What will make you stand out:

  • 5-7 Years of experience working in an analytical role
  • Previous proven experience leading small to midsize technical projects
  • Strong familiarity with Agile Methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of SQL and/or XML
  • Proven experience modernizing, enhancing, or automating systems and processes
  • Strong working knowledge of VASE, Vantage, DSS and/or wmA systems
  • Strong understanding of CMD Operations departmental processes
  • Experience working with Postman and RESTful APIs.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$110,700.00 - $135,300.00
