The Vice President of Product - Travel Commerce Content is responsible for shaping and executing BCD's global content strategy across air, rail, hotel, and car travel products. This senior leader plays a critical role in positioning content as a strategic differentiator-delivering unique value to customers and elevating the traveler experience.

This role leads the prioritization and integration of content across all traveler-facing products, ensuring access to the most relevant, comprehensive, and competitive offerings in the market. Success depends on a deep understanding of customer and market needs, with a focus on driving execution that aligns with strategic priorities and delivers measurable commercial impact.

To achieve this, the Vice President must foster strong cross-functional collaboration with supplier management, technology, commercial, and operations teams. They will bring a strategic mindset to deliver scalable technology solutions that support global growth, accelerate speed to market, and ensure long-term sustainability. This leader will skillfully navigate the intersection of technical feasibility and business objectives, ensuring that solutions are both innovative and commercially viable. By driving alignment and momentum across complex initiatives, they will cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As a Vice President of Product - Travel Commerce Content, you will



  • Develop and lead Global Content Strategy, including defining and evolving the global content strategy for Travel Commerce across air, rail, hotel, and car verticals.
  • Lead the prioritization and integration of content across all traveler-facing products and platforms
  • Partner with internal teams including Travel Experience & Commerce Leadership, Supplier Relations, and Commercial teams to drive execution
  • Translate customer needs and market insights into actionable content strategies
  • Champion new content models, sourcing strategies, and distribution technologies
  • Demonstrate improvement in BCD's competitive positioning through unique or expanded content offerings
  • Increase in content availability in across all travel verticals (air, rail, hotel, car) and platforms resulting in increased Travel Commerce transaction penetration



About you



  • Deep understanding of the corporate travel content landscape, including GDS and non-GDS content sources, NDC, direct connects, aggregators, and third-party content providers
  • Knowledge of content dynamics across air, hotel, car, and rail, including fare structures, rate parity, availability, and merchandising
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners
  • Experience leading global teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus
  • Proven ability to define and execute a content strategy that aligns with product development and enhances the traveler experience
  • Experience leading content integration across multiple platforms and channels, ensuring consistency, relevance, and accessibility
  • Familiarity with APIs, content distribution technologies, and platform architecture in a travel tech environment.
  • Ability to prioritize content initiatives based on customer needs, commercial value, and market trends
  • Proficiency in using data to evaluate content performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement
  • Awareness of emerging trends in travel content sourcing, personalization, and dynamic offers

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Vice President of Product - Travel Commerce Content is between $195,000 and $205,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
