Position Overview:

REDLattice is seeking a Junior Cyber Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for highly motivated engineers with a strong educational background in cybersecurity and computer engineering, who are eager to apply their knowledge in hands-on environments. As a Junior Cyber Engineer, you will support mission-focused projects by executing technical tasks under the guidance of senior engineers, while developing expertise in low-level systems and embedded cybersecurity challenges.

In this role, you will contribute to reverse engineering and vulnerability research efforts on commercial and government-off-the-shelf hardware and software components used in national security system deployments. You will help enable streamlined workflows for the rapid analysis of emergent cybersecurity priorities, working within quick-response teams that assess hardware and software security at varying levels of depth and complexity. This environment will provide the opportunity to build your technical expertise while supporting critical national security missions.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or related technical field (Master's preferred).
  • Demonstrated academic or project-based experience in cybersecurity, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research.
  • Familiarity with low-level system concepts such as operating systems, computer architecture, memory management, and hardware/software interactions.
  • Proficiency with programming languages (e.g., C, C++, or Python).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work on hands-on technical teams under senior engineer oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Up to Active TS/SCI clearance required, with ability to obtain additional clearances, as needed.
