Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/ Associate Director of Nursing Location: Monte Vista, CO 81144 Duration: 3+ Months to long Term Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm (with possibility of call back or weekend shifts to cover for staff) Duration: 5 Months Roles and Responsibilities: Oversees resident care and the care planning process for nursing care from admission to discharge. Assisting the MDS coordinator and DON to implement the multidisciplinary care plan process. In addition oversees the pain management and other key clinical systems of all residents. Serves as a clinical resource person for other staff members by participating in problem solving conferences, etc. Assists the DON to cover staff nursing shifts as needed/administers meds and treatments as needed. Meet psychosocial needs of residents. Oversight of Laboratory process for all residents, obtaining and charting weights, Over-the-counter medications. Meeting with nursing to formulate ways to achieve efficiency of processes noted above. Files reports as needed for CVCLC, Division and per regulations of VA, Federal and State Health Depart. by compiling and composing information. Other duties as assigned. Mandatory requirements, RN License.
