In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger accounting for multiple entities. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by generating monthly journal entries, performing financial statement analysis, maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations, engaging with global third-party bookkeepers, analyzing accounting data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

As an Accounting Analyst, you will work closely with various departments, leveraging your skills to support the accounting team and the entire Finance function. Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate and prepare monthly journal entries in domestic and foreign currency.

  • Conduct research and analysis of accounting data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Prepare, maintain, and review balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Perform financial statement analysis during month-end accounting closes.

  • Perform research and analysis of accounting data.

  • Engage with global third-party bookkeepers.

  • Prepare requested documents for internal and external auditors.

  • Contribute to special projects including data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, testing of system enhancements.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, both locally and internationally.

  • Sophisticated digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced functions). Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP. Familiarity with IFRS preferred.

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to effectively and autonomously problem solve.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external partners.

  • Dedication to producing high-quality work with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a relevant business field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in corporate finance.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Hourly Rate Range: $ 34.61 - $ 37.50
