Position Summary:

CAS is currently seeking an Audio/Visual Technologies Intern for the Facilities Operations Division. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Our Intern Program aims to foster a high level of engagement and learning for a participant through an in-depth immersion into our working environment with our professional teams. The participant will benefit from exposure to a variety of state-of-the-art audio/visual technologies and practices, while also expanding their professional network with Columbus Campus staff and fellow interns. These connections offer valuable insights into potential career opportunities. The duration of this internship is flexible and will be determined prior to acceptance of the position.

Job Accountabilities:



  • Working knowledge of Cisco AV technologies, including Cisco Video Conferencing, Cisco WebEx meetings, Cisco WebEx events, etc.
  • Ability to operate digital/analog audio consoles for live events.
  • Ability to install/operate related AV technologies required for the job, i.e. Town Hall events, conference room meetings, video conference-based events.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers including such programs as MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Positive, professional demeanor and image.
  • Ability to stay abreast of the latest technological trends through individual and team training opportunities.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow AV system flow diagrams and support documentation.


Qualifications:

Post High School Education in Digital Media Technology or Related Work Experience.



  • Experience with concert audio, high-definition video, computer, or stage lighting.
