Internal Audit Consultant - AML Data Governance

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a strong background in AML/BSA and Sanctions Data Governance for a remote contract. This role involves executing audits focused on the company's Data Integrity Program for BSA/AML/OFAC compliance, ensuring robust data governance and management controls are in place.

• Execute audits related to AML/BSA and OFAC compliance, with a focus on data governance.
• Assess the effectiveness of the organization's Data Integrity Program and related controls.
• Evaluate data management practices, including the use and structure of the data dictionary.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements in data governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and IT teams to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior leadership.

• Prior AML Data Governance Audit experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification preferred
• 5+ years of Banking experience required
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience required working in the internal audit practice of a Top 10 US bank or similar setting
