Description Location: Lakewood, CO office - must be able to travel to project sites in the US. ECC is seeking candidates for an Intern for Environmental projects for the summer of 2026.Theintern will work on-site at the Lakewood, CO office with travel as required to any of our project sites in the US. The internship is expected to start summer of 2026. This full-time, temporary intern position is responsible for completing project administrative and/or field support work for the Operations team on a project. This position uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. Interns should be prepared to travel to project sites to gain experience. Typical duties include assisting in a variety of administrative matters; verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; and compiling information. Requirements Communicates well by written and verbal means and may review work by others Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations Skilled in managing large volumes of detailed information accurately Adept at responding to critical requests, limited turnaround times, and demanding deadlines Intermediate knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet Travel: Must be able to work on-site at Lakewood office and travel to project site as required to meet project needs. ECC covers travel related expenses. Education: High school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science field or Environmental Engineering.
