Hawkeye 360 is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer to join the CISO team.

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing the industrial security programand ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Hawkeye 360 personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information.

As the Facilities Security Officer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Ensure compliance with government and company security requirements, including the NISPOM, DoD 5205.07, DD254, and Program Classification Guides.
• Administer and manage all aspects of the industrial security program, including personnel clearances, document control, self-inspections, audits, and violation investigations.
• Interface with internal staff and government personnel to ensure security compliance and provide guidance on applying security policies to operations.
• Conduct security briefings and training, including initial, refresher, foreign travel, indoctrinations, and debriefings.
• Implement and maintain physical security measures, including ICD 705 compliance and the management of secure facilities such as Closed Areas.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential education and experience:

• Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated
• Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers
• Be able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
• Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate
• Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards
• Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas and ICD 705 to meet contractual needs
• Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD
• Administer day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.
• Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
• Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial Security
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written
• FSO certification with minimum 2 years of experience as an FSO
• Bachelor's degree in Security Administration or related area or six years of relevant work experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI Security clearance

Desirable:

• CSSO training certificate
• CPSO training certificate
• COMSEC Custodian certificate or experience
• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification
• Prior ISSO/ISSM or alternate ISSO/ISSM experience
• Courier preparation procedures
• Experience developing and implanting OPSEC plans
• Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems
• Experience with SCIF construction
• Experience conducting investigations
• Resourceful in solving problem and capitalizing on opportunities
• Professional Certifications/Affiliations

Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
