We are currently hiring a Sr. Marketing & Events Manager in Boston, MA. We're hiring a Senior Marketing & Events Manager to lead marketing and event strategies for our Samuel Adams and Angry Orchard locations in Boston, MA. This role oversees taproom events, private rentals, and external communications to drive traffic and revenue, while managing a team across multiple sites including Boston, Cincinnati, and Walden, NY. The manager will collaborate with brand, design, and sales teams to develop annual business and advertising plans. They'll also build and maintain partnerships, negotiate contracts, and ensure all initiatives align with brand values and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional coordination are key to success in this role. *A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule. What You'll Brew:
- Co-lead the LB&T local teams in the development, execution, and measurement of the annual marketing business plan that supports Sam Adams and Angry Orchard Taprooms, driving foot traffic, new revenue, and national brand alignment.
- Act as the primary conduit with the Samuel Adams national brand to ensure local marketing initiatives, events, and materials ladder up to larger brand goals while meeting location-specific objectives to drive topline growth.
- Define success metrics and reporting frameworks for programming and events, monitor performance, share learnings, and adapt strategies to continuously grow brand-building programs across locations.
- Lead and mentor direct and indirect reports, fostering growth and development of future marketing leaders.
- Lead recurring cross-functional marketing meetings with a focus on 30-60-90 day planning and execution
- Collaborate closely with the LB&T merchandise team on strategy, design, and sales of location-specific merchandise.
- Act as the key liaison between brewery teams, BBC sales, distributors, and community partners to showcase spaces and maximize capabilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major partnerships and local sponsorships.
- Oversee and innovate the full drinker experience, ensuring events, communications, and onsite activations are engaging, on-brand, and revenue-generating.
- Lead the strategic vision for the Samuel Adams Pint Perks loyalty program, including expansion opportunities across locations.
- Drive growth of the rentals program by setting strategy, goals, and KPIs to maximize revenue and brand-building opportunities.
- Manage the packaged beer and cider programs at SABB and AOC, guiding strategy, local marketing, design, and commercialization to deliver on-brand and on-time launches.
- Manage digital presence across all locations, partnering with the national social team to drive social media, advertising, website, and newsletter strategies that deliver measurable sales and awareness results.
- Innovate new offerings, bundled packages, and marketing materials that build brand awareness and topline revenue.
- Build brand equity through community partnerships and trade relationships, creating personalized touchpoints to strengthen the Samuel Adams and Angry Orchard brands.
- Develop and manage budgets across sites with a focus on ROI, real-time adjustments, and alignment with cost-saving initiatives when appropriate.
What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of marketing and/or event experience
- 4 Year/Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of social media experience and or digital design
- 2+ years of leadership and management experience
Level: 5M At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $75,700 - $127,900. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
