Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Estimated annual base pay: $134,800 (minimum)-$168,500 (midpoint)-$202,200 (maximum)

The Engineering Manager of Electronic Systems leads a U.S.-based team of Systems Engineers and Performance Analysts in designing, developing, validating, and supporting aerospace electronics products and systems, adhering to rigorous standards like ARP-4754 and ARP-4761. Reporting to the Engineering Director of Systems, this role provides technical expertise in design efforts, customer interactions, and quality problem-solving while driving both new development and production sustainment.

What you will be doing...

  • Promotes design excellence and systemic improvements to ensure high-quality, compliant products.

  • Oversees design standards, engineering phases, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development speed and cost efficiency.

  • Leads root cause investigations to address quality issues and integrate lessons learned into future designs.

  • Manages team talent through staffing, training, performance reviews, and maintaining a training matrix.

  • Develops and manages budgets to meet profitability goals while optimizing resource utilization.

  • Enhances customer-perceived product value using structured methodologies (e.g., DFSS, Lean, risk analysis) while addressing project risks.

  • Provides technical expertise to stakeholders, supports business growth, and represents the company at external events.

  • Allocates resources to projects, integrates new technologies, and supports execution of the PLC process alongside project managers.

What we are looking for...

Education:

  • UNITED STATES\US - Technical/Vocational Degree

  • UNITED STATES\US - Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS)

License & Certifications:

  • Six Sigma - Certification Preferred
