A Taste of What You'll Do

Join our dynamic team as a District Sales Manager and lead a group of talented sales representatives and merchandisers in driving success across 150-300 accounts. With a revenue impact of approximately $15-$30 million, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales landscape within your district. As a District Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing and mentoring a team of 5-8 sales representatives, guiding floating merchandisers, and managing key accounts to ensure the proper representation of our brands in retail environments. Your leadership will be instrumental in training, developing, and motivating team members through innovative sales training programs, field rides, and consistent performance assessments. Your strategic vision will drive the execution of monthly sales plans, including purchasing, distribution, display, and revenue objectives at both territory and account levels.

You will lead weekly sales meetings, present programs, and provide brand direction, all while developing and managing incentive programs at the district level. As a District Sales Manager, you will cultivate strong customer relationships, manage key accounts, and ensure seamless onboarding of new sales reps, while covering territories as needed.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of professional sales experience to include at least one year of Gallo wholesaler or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor experience that includes a holiday season reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of professional sales experience with a Gallo wholesaler or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor that includes a holiday season reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to lift or move 45 - 57 pound cases of product.
  • Required to work weekends for special functions/events when needed.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
