The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team automates business processes in audit, divestiture, business process engineering, and quality of life improvements for the Army FM community. RPA is a form of business process automation in which the developer produces a list of actions to automate a task, and software bots execute those actions.

SPA has an immediate or near term need for a Power Platform Technical Writer. #MC


Responsibilities

  • Research and gather information related to technology and software systems.
  • Write and edit technical content such as user manuals, online help guides and software documentation.
  • Use clear and concise language that is easy to understand for end-users.
  • Work with technical subject matter experts to understand complex technical topics and translate them into user-friendly content.
  • Organize and structure content in a logical and easy-to-follow manner.
  • Test and validate documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate and communicate with project teams to ensure documentation is created and delivered on time.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date as software systems change and evolve.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree and 3 to 10 years of experience
  • An active federal SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
  • Ability to check all technical material for consistency and accuracy
