The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $126,000-$170,000 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for providing leadership for the Supply Chain quality and regulatory functions developing/implementing strategies that optimize technical process and people capabilities to drive achievement of all supply chain quality metrics as well as support of achievement of safety, cost, service and people/culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develops and implements quality and regulatory strategies to optimize capabilities including but not limited to assessment of current state, identification of future state needs, research of external capabilities/technologies, formulation/implementation of action plans.

* Oversees key projects assuring execution to plan, early identification/remediation of corrective measures and engagement of appropriate stakeholders.

* Provides quality functional expertise including but not limited to process controls, data analysis, regulatory compliance, materials and people skill requirements.

* Develop and champion complete proposals to enable business continuity and continuous improvement including consideration of all people, process and equipment elements.

* Identifies, leverages and audits external vendors to meet business demand and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal business requirements while effectively collaborating with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate contracts.

* Develops and implements goals and action plans that align with Supply Chain and other business partners to achieve all quality metrics and other key business objectives: safety, cost, service, people.

* Insure effective collaboration within Supply Chain, product creation and all other business partners.

* Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions and effectively partnering with other stakeholders.

* Manage, empower and develop an effective functional team through appropriate selection, coaching/training/development, reward/recognition, communication and enforcement/role modeling of company policies and procedures.

* Ensure appropriate continuity plans are in place for critical components, materials, manufacturing processes and people.

* Work with regulatory agencies on existing and new standards to ensure RWSC is properly represented and capable of meeting mandated requirements.

* Ensure effective process for raw material and finished product traceability.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, industrial technology or other related field and 7 to 10 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Manufacturing leadership experience in quality required
  • Superior Analytical Skills including LEAN/TPS working knowledge
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES OR KNOWLEDGE:

  • Footwear manufacturing experience preferred
