About the Opportunity A global leader in advanced medical device technology is expanding operations in Milwaukee with a new state-of-the-art facility specializing in packaging and small-batch production for the North American market. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the launch and ongoing operations of this facility, from renovation and equipment installation to production ramp-up and mass production. This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role in a greenfield facility launch with direct visibility and impact on the organization's North American strategy. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of facility setup, including renovations, equipment installation, and production line trial runs Build and manage the local leadership team across production, technology, supply chain, and procurement Oversee production ramp-up, ensuring successful transition into mass production by late 2026 Drive compliance with corporate quality and operational standards, including FDA and ISO requirements Serve as the primary liaison with HQ, regional teams, local government agencies, and external partners Ensure operational stability, process excellence, and long-term productivity of the facility Qualifications Required: 6+ years of plant management experience (medical devices, precision manufacturing, or regulated logistics preferred) Proven track record in greenfield facility launches with budgets of $3M+ Hands-on, visible leadership style with strong team-building ability Preferred: Familiarity with FDA 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 standards Experience with automated packaging lines or cleanroom environments Cross-cultural collaboration experience (China or global teams) Work Environment & Travel Active presence on the production floor (approx. 50% of time) Occasional international travel (up to 4 times/year) Office-based administrative responsibilities (approx. 30% of time) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package Opportunity to lead a high-impact facility launch with global visibility
