Red Tag and Asset Management Specialist

Work Shift:

* Red Tags
o Entering red tags into JDE then scheduling and assigning the work orders to Maintenance Technicians
o Upon completion of work orders, will be responsible for closing out red tags
o Create and process approved Purchase Orders in JDE
o Review invoices from Accounting for accuracy prior to approving or denying
o Create, process and receive Fastenal vending invoices Plant wide
o Participate in all Altium-assigned trainings, communications, and meetings.
o Adhere to Altium requirements for safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
o Other duties as assigned.
* Safety
o Assist with initiating and implementing EHS policies and programs
o Educate employees on safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance.
o Review existing policies and procedures.
o Conduct daily risk assessments.
o Enforce preventative measures.
o Other duties as assigned.

• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications:
Required
* 1+ years' experience with red tag systems/work orders/purchase orders
* Ability to remain organized and on task with little supervision
* Ability to be a team player and build strong partnerships with internal and external customers
* Understanding of automation and maintenance within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and interpret safety data sheets.
* Acute attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively and connect with people from various backgrounds and work history.
* Great knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* High school diploma/GED
* Own transportation, valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
* This position takes place in a manufacturing and production setting, in multiple locations.
* The work environment is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
* This is not an office job, there should be 80% of time the floor and 20% of time at a desk.
* Ability to walk, stand, squat and climb regularly.
