Learning Strategist, Sales Enablement - MillerKnoll

Overview

MillerKnoll is seeking a Learning Strategist to join our Sales Enablement team, focused on the healthcare, education, and government segments. Partnering closely with the Practice Director (who owns the overall segment enablement strategy) and a Learning Specialist, this role is responsible for developing and implementing the learning strategy that equips MillerKnoll employees and dealer partners to succeed in these priority markets.

The Learning Strategist ensures learning is strategic, tailored, and impactful-designing experiences that are aligned to business priorities, grounded in adult learning best practices, and personalized by role, level, and practice group to drive relevance and adoption. Their work directly supports and informs the broader enablement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Alignment

  • Partner with the Practice Director to align learning initiatives to healthcare, education, and government growth strategies.
  • Translate market insights and business needs into targeted learning solutions for sellers and designers.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to segment leaders, providing expertise on enablement strategy and best practices.

Learning Experience Design

  • Develop comprehensive learning journeys that blend delivery methods (live, virtual, self-paced, peer-to-peer).
  • Personalize learning assets and experiences based on the audience to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create experiences that are engaging, scalable, and measurable.
  • Work with the Learning Specialist to translate strategy into high-quality program design and delivery

Execution & Collaboration

  • Lead the design, piloting, and launch of learning experiences, partnering with Sales Enablement teammates to ensure effective communication, tools, and delivery
  • Engage internal SMEs and external partners as needed to enrich learning programs.
  • Coordinate with Field Communications to ensure clear, timely rollout of learning initiatives to sales teams and dealer partners.
  • Work cross-functionally on Marketing, Product, Operations, Technology and Talent Development initiatives to co-create and tailor relevant learning solutions for aligned segment audience

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define clear metrics to evaluate the impact of learning programs on sales capability and business outcomes.
  • Use data and feedback to refine programs, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance to evolving segment needs.
  • Translate learning impact into insights that inform the broader sales enablement strategy.
  • Champion innovation by introducing tools and approaches that enhance learner engagement and scalability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Communication, or relevant academic discipline; equivalent level of experience considered.
  • 4-7 years of experience in a sales, learning, and/or development role.
  • Experience in sales enablement, learning strategy, or partner enablement, ideally in complex B2B environments.
  • Strong foundation in instructional design and adult learning principles applied to sales and design learning.
  • Skilled at consulting with leaders and aligning learning strategies to overall business and enablement objectives.
  • Familiarity with modern learning technologies and distributed delivery models.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with ability to link learning to performance outcomes.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, education, or government markets preferred.
