A Taste of What You'll Do

We are seeking a Strategy Project Manager - FSLDP to partner with senior leadership in steering financial planning, performance analysis, and operational efficiency across our organization. In this role, you will develop long-term financial plans and lead initiatives to refine business models and reporting systems. With a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, you will ensure robust financial controls, establish key metrics, and foster cross-departmental collaboration to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

As a Strategy Project Manager, you will lead and manage finance-related projects with both immediate and future impact, aligning them with strategic priorities to ensure timely delivery. You will prepare annual operating plans, offering financial insights and business leadership. Your role includes evaluating and implementing improvements to financial systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring they align with organizational goals. You will assess new business models through cost-benefit analyses, supporting innovation and transformation.

You will design and maintain business analysis and reporting systems, delivering actionable insights through data visualization and trend analysis. By analyzing financial and operational trends across various business units, you will prepare forecasts that guide strategic decision-making. You will define and align key performance indicators (KPIs) with executive leadership, ensuring consistent measurement across teams to drive accountability.

In fostering a high-performance culture, you will lead and allocate finance team resources across projects, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will also prepare a 3-year financial plan and coordinate critical initiatives with supporting functions like Marketing and Supply Chain. Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and establishing controls for new processes, you will champion finance-driven innovation. What You'll Need

  • MBA degree from a Tier 1 Business School as defined in the Strategic Finance Leadership Development Program (SFLDP) plus 3 years of finance, accounting, audit, military, operations, supply chain, sales, consulting or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. OR currently enrolled in a Tier 1 Business School with expected graduation within 12 months of starting this role.
  • Leadership experience to include coaching and developing others or managing complex or cross-functional projects.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

  • MBA degree plus 6 years of Finance, Accounting, Military, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Consulting or wine industry experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of Gallo experience to include 4 years of finance, audit, accounting, economics, statistic or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting.
  • Excellent demonstrated negotiation and communication skills.
  • Comfortable and effective in the role of change agent.
  • Solid performance record of building successful relationships.
  • Management strength to provide motivational guidance and direction.
