How You'll Perform the Role

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the department that creates the daily production schedule to optimize customer service, inventory management and capacity utilization to support multi-site customer forecasts and sales orders while exceeding site KPI metrics.



  • Manage the development and distribution of the daily production schedule for all machines.
  • Oversee inventory levels and optimize manufacturing efficiencies.
  • Identify and Modifies BOMs (Bills of Material) to consume available components contingent upon supply and to achieve facility inventory reduction measures as necessary.
  • Identify product and supply shortages and modify schedule accordingly.
  • Interface with Customer Service to prioritize critical orders
  • Communicates with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet schedule demands.
  • Request special label printing as needed.
  • Create slitting, rewind, and trial production work orders as necessary.
  • Report As Finish (RAF) production work orders, analyzing all labor vs inventory variances and work with Production and Warehouse supervision to resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and lead the implementation of special projects.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to subordinates.


What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics preferred
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment utilizing an ERP/MRP system or equivalent combination of experience and education required:



    • Microsoft Dynamics/AX
    • SAP
    • MS Office
    • WMS's (Warehouse Management Systems)



  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills. Ability to follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
