  • Provide requirements to Nokia R&D and guides them on the design, architecture and oversees feature and product creation.
  • Design effective end-to-end solutions, through the design of architecture, to meet customer needs in a market positioning prospective.
  • Work closely with the end customer to understand requirements, design and develop features with collaboration with R&D and the Product Manager.
  • Provide support for product feature roadmap and help with strategy towards growing revenue YOY for product area.
  • Act as a trusted advisor partnering with the customer on its strategy positioning and end-user understanding based on previous experience in end-to-end architecture on multiple domains.
  • Design and execute the technical solution in customer project with high complexity and risk.
  • Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.
  • Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI


Domestic travel up to 10% required.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 35%.

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 6 years of experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive). Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following:



  • Cross domain or E2E Solution Architect;
  • REST, HTTPS, LDAP, SIGTRAN, SS7, CAMEL, SOAP, MAP or DIAMETER protocols;
  • Architecture and design for wireless telecom applications including MMSC, SMSC, Registers, or Centralized Databases;
  • Programming languages including Java, Python or scripting languages on Linux;
  • and, Cloud infrastructure software including Openstack and Kubernetes.
